Six people died while 16 others were hurt after a truck plunged into a deep ravine along a highway in President Roxas town in North Cotabato, a radio dzMM report said Tuesday. Three of the fatalities were identified as Erlinda Gregorio, Glen Gregorio and Tata Maselonia. Three other victims died in hospital, the report said. The victims were passengers of an Isuzu Elf truck that initially hit a tricycle along the highway in Barangay Mabuhay. Police said the truck lost its brakes before hitting the tricycle.
